I am New

How do I check my child in?

As you enter our Crossroads lobby, you will see our Check-in area and be greeted by a Crossroads Kids Welcome Team member. Our Welcome Team Members will check you into our system, give you a child tag and parent receipt, tell you everything you need to know about our ministry, walk you and your child(ren) to their class, answer any questions you may have and do their very best to make you and your child(ren) feel comfortable and welcomed. On every Sunday morning, a Crossroads Kids Team Member will be present to assist with any technical issues as needed. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each morning gathering.

How are the ages divided?

Nursery: Newborns and infants to 18 months.

Toddler: 19months to 2 years old. Kids move to Preschool when they turn 3-years-old and are potty trained.

Preschool: Children ages 3 to 5-years-old and potty trained. Kids move to Elementary when they turn 5 and enroll in Kindergarten.

Elementary: Children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade. There are small groups/classes for K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade.

Special Needs: A Special Needs classroom is available as well. Please see our New Parent Greeter to find out more about this class.

Are my kids safe?

Safety is our number one priority. All of our Team Members have been interviewed, passed background checks and referenced by our ministry leaders in order to provide a safe and fun environment for all of our kids. They understand the weight of partnering with you to guide your child(ren) towards an intimate relationship with Jesus and are humbled by the opportunity to serve!

In case of emergency, how do you reach parents/guardians during a gathering? If we need to reach you while you are in the service, a Security team member will place the unique claim check-in/check-out code (given to you during check-in) on the screens located at the front in the main service.

How do I pick up my child?

Once the service ends, parents/guardians can head directly to the child’s classroom. Parents/guardians will be asked to present the parent receipt received during check-in to receive your child(ren). As your child(ren)’s safety is our top priority, your child(ren) will not be released unless this code is presented.
